FAQ
I hope this answers most of your questions, but if not, please feel free to email me! Do you offer discounts/wholesale prices? TOP
I sure do! Here is the discount breakdown:
$100.00 to $200.00 = 5%
$201.00 to $400.00 = 10%
$401.00 and up = 15%
The discounts will be automatically deducted at checkout. (Please note that this additional discount will not apply when I am having a storewide sale but will resume when the sale ends.) Discounts are for in-stock items. I do not offer discounts for special order items. Do you accept gift certificates? TOP
Yes I do! You can purchase gift certificates from between $25.00 to $100.00. After your purchase, I will email you (or the gift certificate recipient) with the certificate code which the gift recipient can then enter into the voucher box at checkout.
If you would rather have me send a paper certificate through the mail, I can do that too, just let me know if that is your preference. The total amount of the certificate must be used at one time and the recipient has 12 months to use it. What forms of payment do you accept? TOP
I accept checks, money orders, Paypal and credit cards. If you send a check or money order, please make payable to me, Michelle Moran and mail to the address below.
42-335 Washington Street

Palm Desert, CA 92211 How fast can I get my order? TOP
I try to work on orders as quickly as I can once payment is received. I like to have my orders done in a 2-3 day time span but because I lovingly create each design myself, I do ask that you allow at least a week. If you need something right away, let me know and I will do my very best to accomodate you! Occasionally I may be out of stock on something, but I will always let you know and keep you up-to-date on your order. How will my order be sent? TOP
Within the United States, First Class shipping is FREE! This includes includes Delivery Confirmation. You may also choose Priority Mail for $5.00, which also includes Delivery Confirmation. Priority mail has a general (but not guaranteed) arrival date of 2-3 days. Insurance is not required but highly recommended as I cannot be responsible for lost packages once they leave my hands. You may purchase optional insurance on my website.
I use Stamps.com as my preferred shipping method so that I don't have to make numerous trips to the post office. This allows me to mail packages on a dalily basis. If you choose the optional insurance, your package will be insured through Stamps.com.
Do you ship outside the United States? TOP
The rates below are for Canada. If you are ordering from another country, please contact me before placing your order. (The shipping cost can vary greatly.) I will then let you know what your cost will be for shipping.
Canada International First Class - $3.00 (The Postal Service does not provide insurance for this option.)
Canada International Priority Flat Rate (Insured) - $9.00 General delivery time is 6-10 business days.) How do I determine what size bracelet I need? TOP
When placing your order, you may choose to provide me with the wrist measurement or bracelet size (if you know it). If you don't know what size you need, or you are not sure, then providing a wrist measurement is best. You can do this by taking a soft measuring tape and wrapping it snuggly, but not tightly around the wrist. If you do not have a measuring tape, you can also take a piece of string or ribbon, do the same thing, and then measure it against a ruler for the proper length. Then, just provide me with the wrist measurement and I will do the rest. (Please do not add any extra other then the exact length or else the bracelet will not fit properly.)
If this is for a gift and you are "just not sure", then please feel free to email me and we can figure it out together.
Please, please, please do measure your wrist if you can and are unsure about the size. This will save us both a lot of time and money for postage. Besides, I want your special piece of jewelry to be right from the beginning. So far I have not been charging for re-stringing, but I have been getting more returns lately due to incorrect measuring or not measuring at all. If this is a gift, I completely understand and am more then happy to resize free of charge, but if this is for you, please make every effort to provide me with the correct size so that I don't have to start charging for resizing.
If you are ordering a child's bracelet, I will size the bracelet up to 6.75". Anything 7" or larger would be considered adult sizing and would be an additional, minimal fee. Please email me if you need a child's bracelet sized for an adult. How do I care for my jewelry? TOP
I recommend that your jewelry be removed before going to bed each night, and also before swimming or bathing and showering to keep it looking its best. For cleaning, use a polishing cloth meant for sterling silver, and keep your jewelry in a jewelry box or enclosed container when it is not being worn. This will prevent it from tarnishing. (Even a small plastic baggy will work.) I keep mine in a plastic, divided container, with a tight fitting lid. I do not recommend using harsh cleaners as this can damage pearls and other gemstones. If there are no gemstones in your jewelry, you can also take a soft toothbrush with a little dishwashing liquid and gently clean the sterling and crystal components. This is a nice way to get it looking shiny and new again if it has not already become tarnished. The worst thing you can do for your sterling jewelry would be to leave it laying around when it is not being worn. This is a sure way to cause the sterling to tarnish.
What is a lampwork bead? TOP
First of all, you will notice that I use lampwork beads in many, many of my designs. I love them because they are so unique! Mine come from individual artisan lampwork artists and you can tell that each artist has a different, yet beautiful way of doing them.
Lampwork beads are created from glass rods that have been heated with a torch, which melts the glass, allowing each bead to be formed around a mandrel. After the final touches have been added, the beads are then kiln annealed to keep them strong, durable, and to prevent them from cracking. Although these beads are strong, you wouldn't want to drop them on the ground, or treat them harshly since they aren't indestructible after all!
I love lampwork beads and find so much joy in using them in my designs. I hope you will grow to adore them half as much as I do! It can become quite an addiction! What kind of stringing wire do you use? TOP
I use a professional series stringing wire with 49 strands. This means that there are 49 miniature strands of stainless steel wire incorporated together in a protective, abrasion-resistant nylon coating that is made especially for bead stringing. Jewelry Policy: What if my jewelry breaks? Can I send it back for repair? TOP
Warranty
The first 6 months, I will resize and make any needed repairs at no charge to you. I will also cover first class shipping and insurance on jewelry shipped back to you.
With just a little general care, your jewelry will last a very long time. Please remove your jewelry before bed, bathing, swimming, showering, etc.,. This will help to keep it at it's best. I use the very best quality findings, beads, and stringing wire, but as you know, no jewelry can be 100% guaranteed not to ever be in need of repair.
Repairs
If your bracelet breaks after the 6 month warranty period, I can re-string your bracelet for $5.00 per strand. If other parts are needed, such as a new clasp, charm, or beads, the cost can be determined once the bracelet is returned. I always strive to be fair and reasonable.
I recommend that you keep your sales receipt with your jewelry for the first 6 months, that way you can easily know if you are within the 6 month warranty period.
Please contact me before mailing your jewelry, and allow 2 weeks for the return of your jewelry. |
